PLEASED TO MEET YOU! Would you like to know a little more about me? Well...
I grew up between the magical forests of Montseny and the orchards of my grandparents in Argentona, near Barcelona. I spent many happy moments surrounded by cats and nature, and since then I have been imagining and writing stories. After graduating in Early Childhood Education and working as a teacher, I perfected my writing technique at Barcelona Writing School and took a Master's Degree in Publishing at UPF-BSM. I have been working in publishing since 2014 and now I combine my great passion, writing, with the challenge of encouraging children to write their own stories. I have a weakness for book series: in my head, everything can become one!
And if you want to get to know me more personally...
I love spending time with my family! I enjoy walks and outings a lot, and I also like discovering new places around the world. I adore mountains; I could spend hours just gazing at them. They say I'm quite good at playing badminton, but it's been a while since I last practiced. When I go to the beach or the pool, you'll always find me in the water. I have a feline heart; wherever there's a cat, you'll find me petting it. And... another one of my dreams is singing: I'm always humming or inventing songs!
An anecdote:
My pseudonym's first name is real, but the surname isn't. Although I love cheese, I chose BRIE because my first published novel is about a mouse dreaming of Swiss cheese fondues! I wanted a pseudonym that would always remind me of my origins. Yes, I'm a romantic!
